Biography

David Brierly was born in 1935 in Yorkshire, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Threads (1984), Sex Through the Ages (1974) and Doctor Who: Shada (1992). He died on June 10, 2008.

He was an expert sailor, long-distance runner and a keen fell walker.

Best-known to Dr.Who aficionados as the voice of K-9 during season seventeen (with Tom Baker). He also acted on stage and performed on radio as Dr.Watson in 'The Hound of the Baskervilles', Brutus in 'Julius Caesar' and Puck in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.
