Biography

Lynton Brent was born on August 2, 1897 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for Mysterious Doctor Satan (1940), The Intruder (1933) and The Texas Kid (1943). He died on July 12, 1981 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Authored several pulp mass market paperbacks in the 1960s and early 1970s.

His father, William Lynton Brent, was a banker and civic leader in Los Angeles. He was responsible for the development of the wealthy L.A. enclave of Brentwood, which was named after him.

He was a World War I veteran (achieved rank of 2nd Lieutenant). He was also an accomplished artist and architect.
