Heinrich Breloer was born on 17 February 1942 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. He is a director and writer, known for Todesspiel (1997), Speer und er (2005) and Wehner - Die unerzählte Geschichte (1993). He is married to Monika Winhuisen. They have two children.

Studied literature and philosophy in Bonn and Hamburg from 1961 to 1970
and received an academic degree in 1976.

Received Germany&#39;s Cross of Merit in 1999.

Often collaborates with author and director <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0477933/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Horst Königstein</a>.
