- In 2014 she was sentenced in Australia to six yeas in prison for her part in a ring that smuggled cocaine on planes flying from California to Australia on United and Qantas Airlines.
- Sued ex-husband Nikki Sixx during their divorce proceedings for $10 million (the amount she estimated he made during their 7.5-year marriage) and neglect, stating he walked out on her and their children. In response, Sixx said he moved out so she wouldn't have to relocate and gave her $6 million, the house they shared (he moved to Malibu with now-wife Donna D'Errico), and a Mercedes Benz.
