Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Jasper Ewing Brady was born on 12 September 1866 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He was a writer and director, known for The Man She Brought Back (1922), The Divorce Trap (1919) and The Island of Regeneration (1915). He was married to Lillian Fowler Miller, Marjorie Estelle Shoals, Virginia Nelles Wright and Emma Augusta Dennis. He died on 8 August 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.

Brother of scenarist <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0103597/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Cyrus Townsend Brady</a>.

During the Spanish-American War he served as censor of telegraphs and chief of the bureau of information for the US Army.

His son, Lieutenant Colonel Jasper Ewing Brady IV (1897-1944), died in the Philippines during the Second World War.
