David Bradstreet(I)

David Bradstreet loved making films as a child, animating G.I. Joe's and clay monsters with his Super8 camera. At UC Santa Barbara his thesis documentary, California Poker, was distributed to the state assembly and senate. David began his career in feature development with Edward R. Pressman, (Judge Dredd, Reversal of Fortune, Blue Steel, etc.) earning his first assistant credit on Oliver Stone's Talk Radio. He also worked for actor Louis Gossett, Jr. as Director of Development. Turning to cable documentary, David has associate produced, co-produced, supervised, written and researched over 60 hours of programming for History, A&E and SPEED. Shows include the popular Modern Marvels, The Color of War, Masters of War, A&E Biographies, and The Nostradamus Effect. He has interviewed numerous scientists, authors, engineers and military veterans. David earned his Masters degree from the American Film Institute as a producing fellow. His script Movin' To Montana was awarded a scholarship and the film was nominated for a student Emmy award. He has studied voice over, appeared as an extra (Horrible Bosses), dresses sets (Nostradamus Effect) and enjoys creating giant paper machete puppets for parades. David recently returned to the Santa Barbara area to write his own feature film scripts. . .and do a little sailing.
