Lillian Trimble Bradley was born on April 23, 1879 in Milton, Kentucky, USA. Lillian Trimble was a writer, known for What Happened Then? (1934), The Woman on the Index (1919) and The Wonderful Thing (1921). Lillian Trimble was married to George Broadhurst and Daniel I. Bradley (broker). Lillian Trimble died on January 7, 1959 in Santa Barbara, California, USA.

Became general stage director for her future husband in 1919. The couple had previously collaborated on the writing of several plays.

Learned her craft studying in France and Russia. Had directed plays in Europe before she had the opportunity to do so on Broadway.

Believed to have been the first woman stage director on Broadway.
