Biography

Pat Boyette was born on July 27, 1923 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. He was a writer and director, known for The Weird Ones (1962), The Dungeon of Harrow (1964) and The Girls from Thunder Strip (1970). He was married to Bette Boyette. He died on January 14, 2000 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.

A former TV newsman, he left that business to try a career at comic book illustration, and quickly became one of the top comic-book artists in the country.

After making only a few low-budget cult movies, Pat Boyette abandoned filmmaking to pursue a successful career as a cartoonist and comic-book artist.

He was a newscaster on television station KENS in San Antonio, Texas, in the 1950s and 1960s.
