Biography

Niki Bovendaerde was born in August 1938 in Wetteren, Belgium. She was an actress, known for Prelude tot de dageraad (1959), Hendrik Conscience (1963) and Echo (1961). She died on July 4, 2001.

Was a local politician in Brussels.

Wrote the song "Jij en ik" for Belgian folk duo Miek & Roel.

One of the first presenters of the BRT, the Belgian public television.
