Joseph Bova was born on May 25, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He was an actor, known for Serpico (1973), Who? (1974) and Once Upon a Mattress (1964). He was married to Lee Lawson. He died on March 12, 2006 in Englewood, New Jersey, USA.

"Uncle Joe" Bova was the host/performer of WABC TV Ch. 7 NYC's weekday evening version of "The Little Rascals Show". The weekday evening version of WABC TV Ch. 7 NYC's "Little Rascals Show" was on the air from Monday September 23, 1957 to Friday September 9, 1960. "Uncle Joe" Bova was also the second host/performer of WJZ/WABC TV Ch. 7 NYC's "Time For Fun!" weekday afternoons from Monday August 1, 1955 to Friday December 21, 1956.

Was nominated for Broadway's 1970 Tony Award as Best Supporting or Featured Actor (Dramatic) for "The Chinese and Dr. Fish."
