Matti Boustedt is a Swedish character actor working across international film, television, performance capture and voice acting. Known for portraying authoritative, historical and psychologically complex characters, he has built a career spanning more than three decades in Scandinavian and international productions.
His recent work includes The Testament of Ann Lee, directed by Mona Fastvold and written by Mona Fastvold and Academy Award winner Brady Corbet, in which he portrays Captain Smith opposite Amanda Seyfried. He is also known to German audiences for the leading role of police officer Sigge Sundström in the ZDF television film The Inspector and the Sea From Happy Days.
His screen work ranges from historical dramas and crime thrillers to horror, comedy and contemporary stories, and includes collaborations with internationally acclaimed filmmakers as well as productions for major streaming platforms. Alongside his film and television work, he has performed motion capture and performance capture for AAA video games and voice acted in internationally released animated features.
