First wife Jozy Pollock was born in England and became the "Hula-Hoop
Queen" in her youth. She moved to the U.S. after marrying Pollock. They
performed on the Ed Sullivan Show and also went on the road with
Liberace. Divorced in 1968, she later became a groupie and friends with
Sharon Tate. She was supposed to be visiting Tate on the night the
actress was viciously murdered but was saved after a severe migraine
delayed a return trip home from Las Vegas.
