  • Evgeniy Botyarov is Soviet, Russian composer, musical teacher, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1995), professor, member of the Union of Composers of the USSR (RF) (1963), member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation (2000). He graduated from the music school at the Leningrad Conservatory in 1956. In 1961 Botyarov graduated from the Moscow Conservatory, in 1964 - graduate school at the conservatory with a degree in composition. In 1964-1966 he taught at the Pedagogical Institute of Gnesins. Since 1966 - teacher, head of the department of instrumentation, professor of the Moscow Conservatory. Awarded the Order of Friendship (2003) and the Order of Honor (2007).
