Biography

Bottin often played the role of a ingénue, either from Rome as in A Hero of Our Times, or from Venice, as in The Seducer.

After having been noted in a beauty contest, in 1953 Bottin made her acting debut in Empty Eyes.

During her career, she alternated main roles in B-movies and supporting roles in major productions.

Pina Bottin was an Italian actress. She worked in various Italian films and television programs from 1953 to 1970.

She took part in numerous editions of the television advertising programme Carosello (= an Italian advertising television program broadcast on Rai 's Programma Nazionale (later Rete 1 )from 3 February 1957 to 1 January 1977): in 1957 for Sunil by Lever-Gibbs, together with Nino Besozzi, Fanny Marchiò, Ferruccio Amendola and Munaretto; in 1959 for Amaro Medicinale Giuliani, together with Gianni Caiafa and Fausto Tommei; in 1961 for Pizzaiola mozzarella and MIO cheese by Locatelli and in 1964 for the Tabacco d'Harar perfume by Gi. Vi. Emme , together with Serena Cantalupi and James Turnbull .
