Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Jerzy Bossak was born on 31 July 1910 in Rostov-on-Don, Russian Empire [now Russia]. He was a director, known for Wrzesien - tak bylo... (1961), Requiem dla 500 tysiecy (1963) and Peace Will Win (1951). He died on 23 May 1989 in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland.

Along with fellow Pole Aleksander Ford, he created a Avant-Garde Cinema company, in 1943, with an aim to film reports on the Polish struggle and the work of the partisans.
