Biography

Terry Borst is co-writer of the interactive movies Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger (1994) and Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom (1995). (The former won the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences "Cybie" for Best Writing, and both games won numerous awards.) His "traditional" screen-writing credits include the TV movie sequel to the hit film "Midnight Run" entitled Midnight Runaround (1994), the independent feature Private War (1988), and numerous episodes of the BBC action-adventure series Bugs (1995). He has performed uncredited rewrites on TV movies and independent features; developed screenplays for studio and independent producers in Hollywood; scripted and collaborated on game design for other video games; and consulted on cutting-edge intelligent narrative technologies. Terry has published 3 books on aspects of screenwriting and emergent media content development, and taught undergraduate screenwriting at Santa Fe University of Art and Design and Ringling College of Art+Design; he currently teaches for UC Berkeley Extension.
