Janet Borrus

Janet is an award-winning actor, a writer, and theatre educator. She recently returned to the industry after teaching high school theatre, and is having a blast performing again. She has guest-starred on top shows, such as Apple TV's GOVERNMENT CHEESE and PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, and shared the screen with Keke Palmer in the popular classic AKEELAH AND THE BEE. She can currently be seen in Indie features OMI, PEEKY, and the new web series GRINGO LATINO. Her many theatre credits include premieres by leading playwrights and her solo show THE RAMONA ROSES, which toured the country to rave reviews. Janet also co-wrote the feature film BELLYFRUIT, starring Michael Peña. A busy voiceover talent as well, she creates memorable characters for animated series, national commercials and audio books. She is a graduate of Oberlin College and The Drama Studio in London.
