- Adolf Born was born on June 12, 1930 in Ceské Velenice, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was a director and writer, known for Mindrák (1981), Nesmysl (1974) and Mach a Sebestová k tabuli! (1986). He died on May 22, 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic.

We also worked on some of the films with Jaroslav Doubrava, who was the head animator. For example, we got the idea that in O utrzeném sluchátku (1976), Mach would slide down the railing, and Doubrava thought that he could use his ear as a turn signal. We went with that immediately. It was collective work."
