Yuri Boretsky was born on 2 March 1935 in Kyiv, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union [now Kyiv, Ukraine]. He was a director and actor, known for Nepobedimyy (1983), Ofitser zapasa (1972) and Waterfall (1973). He died on 19 December 2003.
