- Brian was born in Torrance California in 1981, and grew up as a child actor in Hollywood. He filled a variety of roles, during his acting career between the ages of three and fourteen, which include "Andy Keaton" on Family Ties (1982); Worf's son "Alexander Rozhenko" on Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) and "Preston Waters" in the Disney hit film, Blank Check (1994). Brian now resides near Boulder, Colorado and continues to further his dream of making music. He sings and plays rhythm guitar in a popular Denver-based punk rock band called Lights In The Sky, as well playing in a very well-known acoustic duo called 'Bootjack&Bonz'. According to his Facebook page, he has also accepted the role of second guitar for the world-famous, gold record-earning, punk rock band, The Ataris.

- In 1995, Bonsall decided to take a break from acting to focus more on music. He and his family moved to Colorado, where he graduated from Boulder High School in 2000.
