Biography

Peter Bonke was born on December 24, 1942 in Denmark. He is an actor, known for Les enquêtes du commissaire Maigret (1967), A French Village (2009) and Le choc (1982).

Grew up on a farm on the Danish island of Lolland.

Received a scholarship from the ministry of culture in 1975 and moved to Paris. However, he had to work as a waiter in the beginning in order to make ends meet.

Started his career in his native Denmark, but has since appeared in a large number of movies and TV-movies in France.

1998: Read texts from philosopher Søren Kierkegaard and artist Asger Jorn at the Copenhagen City Museum.
