Biography

Giovanni L. Bonelli was born on December 22, 1908 in Milan, Lombardy, Italy. He was a writer and actor, known for Tex and the Lord of the Deep (1985) and Tex & Company (1980). He died on January 12, 2001 in Alessandria, Piedmont, Italy.

Creator of "Tex Willer," Bonelli was one of the most important comic book editors in Italy.

Father of Guido Nolitta (Sergio Bonelli) and Giorgio Bonelli.
