Biography

Eugenie Bondurant's long and slightly eccentric career has taken her from the runways of New York and Paris to featured roles in film and television, including her breakout role as the feminine and feline cult icon "Tigris" in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 and most recently The School Duel premiering In Competition at the 2024 50th Deauville Film Festival.

She reprised the mysterious villain role in Marvel's groundbreaking Werewolf By Night alongside Gael Garcia Brunel, Laura Donnelly and Harriet Sansom Harris, under the direction of Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino. Critics find "Azarel ...quiet and foreboding, the type who remains in the shadows before violently lashing out with her scythe."

In the indie film Fear of Rain Eugenie worked alongside Harry Connick Jr. and Madison Iseman. The role was originally written as a male but, after meeting Eugenie the director knew she was perfect for the role of "Dani McConnell." The Artful Critic said "Eugenie Bondurant might make the most impression" and The Guardian stating "Bondurant's ... performance is the highlight of the film...Landon films the angles of her androgynous face to perfection: in a certain kind of light she looks frail and caring; from another angle she's menacing as hell." Eugenie played the role as "Isla," the Occultist in The Conjuring - The Devil Made Me Do It opposite Patrick Wilson and Vera Farming. Critics loved her as the film's evil antagonist - "Bondurant completely steals the show..." and "The Occultist...works thanks to the performance of Eugenie Bondurant."

After watching The Conjuring, the award-winning fashion designer for Balenciaga, Denma, was enthralled and invited Eugenie to Paris to walk in his 2021 fall show. This led her to being in Balenciaga's five shows in the '21-'22 season. Early in her career, Bondurant, tall and angular, with knife-blade cheekbones, was "discovered" on the streets of her hometown, New Orleans after a bout with cancer left her looking especially exotic and androgynous. Soon she became a working model in the U.S. and Europe. A modeling trip to Los Angeles led to an acting career that included a string of fun and unusual characters in TV and film.

Additional film and TV credits include the AMC series Interview With The Vampire, and indie films Summer Camp (with Kathy Bates), Popular Theory, The School Duel and 115 Grains. When not on a film set, modeling or doing a voice-over, you can find Eugenie as head honcho at her acting studio, Station 12 Studio at Green Light Cinema or performing cabaret as the "Elegant Chanteuse" with the sultry voice with Paul Wilborn.

A well-known On-Camera and Meisner Acting Coach, Bondurant, loves teaching acting at Station 12 Studio in St Petersburg. Along with acting, she has a BA in Finance.
