Biography

Jens Bolling was born on July 23, 1915 in Levanger, Norway. He was an actor, known for Medmenneske (1981), Nine Lives (1957) and Smeltedigelen (1965). He was married to Marit Bolling, Liv Strømsted and Ingrid Bothner. He died on December 13, 1992 in Norway.

Sister Sigrid drowned in the fjord at Levanger in 1922, just 5 years old.

Next to Bjarne Bø, the most famous teller of the old Norwegian Fairytales.

Mother Borghild died of the Spanish flu in 1919, only 26 years old.

One of his schoolmates from primary school in Levanger, was the later Nazi-agent and torturer Henry Oliver Rinnan, Bolling wrote about this in his memoirs. (1983).
