Biography

Michael Boland was born on December 16, 1949 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was a cinematographer and director, known for Millennium: Tribal Wisdom and the Modern World (1992), The Nature of Things (1960) and In the Shadow of a Saint: The Ken Wiwa Story (2000). He died on October 5, 2025 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Was a professional hockey player during the 1970s, most notably playing two games with the Stanley Cup champion Philadelphia Flyers in 1975.
