Werner Böhm was born on 5 June 1941 in Torun, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland. He was an actor and composer, known for Sunshine Reggae auf Ibiza (1983), Panische Zeiten (1980) and Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast (1997). He was married to Susanne Böhm, Mary Roos and Christiane Matthey des Bornels. He died on 2 June 2020 in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain.

Has three sons, Olivier (born in 1966), Julian (born in 1986) and Jerome Joel (born 20 May 2007), from three marriages.

Better known as stage character &quot;Gottlieb Wendehals&quot;, whose &quot;Polonäse
Blankenese&quot; (1979) became one of Germany&#39;s most popular party
songs.

In the 1970s, he was a noted jazz pianist collaborating with superstars
