Biography

Jaroslaw Boberek was born on June 14, 1963 in Szczecinek, Zachodniopomorskie, Poland. He is an actor and director, known for The Witcher (2007), The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (2011) and The Last Mission (2000).

He's one of only five actors to have worked in both the Witcher live action show and video game series, the other four being Pawel Szczesny, Miroslaw Zbrojewicz, Wojciech Duryasz and Michal Piela. Boberek is the only one who played the same character -Yarpen Zigrin- in both mediums (along with providing several other voices for the games).

He has a son, Mateusz, from his first marriage.

In 2026, he confessed that years earlier, he got into an accident which nearly killed him. His face was disfigured, the bones on the side of his face were shattered and his nasal bones were pushed into his cranial cavity.
