Kunchacko Boban also known as Chackochan is an Indian film actor and producer who works mainly in the Malayalam film industry and has acted in more than 90 films. He is a recipient of several awards, including the Kerala State Film Award. Kunchako Boban is a member of the illustrious Kunchacko family and he is married to Priya Ann Samuel.

Kunchako is the grandson of legendary film producer Kunchacko, who founded Udaya Studios. He is also the grandnephew of Navodaya Appachan who owned Navodaya Studios. He was introduced into the Malayalam film industry by director Fazil with his debut film Aniathipravu (1997), co-starring Shalini. The movie turned to be the highest-grossing Malayalam film of that period.

Became an instant teenage heartthrob after his first film, the Fazil directed Aniyathi Pravu (1997), was released. Was a favorite among Kerala's college-campus scene after starring in numerous love stories, but once he finished college, he decided to focus on character roles with more scope.

Member of the Maliampurakal family, who are credited with having the first film studio in Kerala, Udaya Studio.

He first appeared as a child actor at the age of four in his father's film Dhanya (1981).

His name is an inverse of his father's name, Boban Kunchacko. His given name is Kunchacko, named after his paternal grandfather, Kunchacko, a filmmaker.

Got the nickname "Chocolate boy" after starring in a number of successful romantic films.
