Biography

Bob Boatman was born on September 28, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. He was a director and cinematographer, known for The Resurrection of Zachary Wheeler (1971), Hee Haw (1969) and Mel Tillis Time (1974). He died on August 28, 1989 in Hendersonville, Tennessee, USA.

Many were unaware that Bob did consultant work for the White House Communications Agency, where he worked with President Nixon, President Ford, President Carter, and President Ronald Reagan. Bob's lovely and talented wife, Anne Boatman produced the "Nashville Alive" TV series starring Ralph Emery for which she was nominated for an ACE Award in 1982.
