Biography

John Bliss was born on October 8, 1930 in Florida, USA. He was an actor, known for Intolerable Cruelty (2003), Andy Richter Controls the Universe (2002) and Dixie Dynamite (1976). He died on February 28, 2008 in Glendale, California, USA.

He was active on the Los Angeles stage, and was a 20 year company member of Peggy Webber's California Artists Radio Theater. He was also a longtime member of the Masquers Club.

He began his acting career as a child, touring with his mother and father who were also professional actors. As a young actor in New York, he appeared in live TV dramas on "Studio One," "Playhouse 90" and "Kraft Theater".

A long time friend of James E McLarty and I (Tracy McLarty), we used to tease him because his girlfriend was Marsha Love, thus Love and Bliss.
