- In 1992 he left his job as an accountant at Aranzabal to dedicate himself entirely to his acting career.
- After having health problems, in the last years of his life he moved to live at the Sagrada Familia de Cucho residence in Condado de Treviño ( Burgos ).
- He completed his primary studies at the Samaniego and Jesús Obrero schools in Vitoria.
- While studying at school and for several years, he was part of the clown duo "Hermanos Chetti" together with Tito Aldama, participating in a total of 4,316 performances.
- After his mother died when he was 13 years old, he started working at Aranzabal at the age of 14 as a bellboy, combining this with his studies in high school, psychology and commerce, and 5 years later becoming the company's accountant. At the same time he was part of the theatre groups La Farándula, Gasteiz and Arlequín.
