Margreet Blanken was born on July 10, 1941 in Zaandam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. She is an actress, known for Medisch Centrum West (1988), Majoor Barbara (1964) and Kameleon 3.

Originally a theater actress.

Became very good friends with Klaas Hofstra during Medisch Centrum West (1988) and this friendship still lasts today.

Has been doing a theater play about the diary of Etty Hillesum ever since the late-'90s.
