Biography

Danielle Blanchard is an American theatre, film, and television actress, born in Concord, California. She discovered acting at age 4. Appearing in High School plays, she studied drama at the Boston Conservatory of Music graduating cum laude with a BFA in theatre. She received her Masters Degree at the University of Arizona in acting theory and dramatic criticism. While attending U of A, she interned at the Arizona Theatre Company. She assistant directed the play The Importance of Being Ernest. She began her television and film career guest starring in Young Guns II opposite Balthazar Getty and Christine Slater, the Young Riders television episode directed by James Keach guest starring opposite Steve Railsback, and co-starring in Nickelodeon's Hey Dude with Christine Taylor (Stiller). She moved to California and worked in Regional Repertory Theatre receiving her Actors Equity Association card. She created; acted, and directed in the Worship Arts Ministries directing the Promise Musical with a cast and crew of over 300 people at a Mega Church, and began her College teaching career in theatre, film, online and on site classes at 3 separate Universities and Colleges. Taking time off from acting, she assisted family and friends with Hospice and end-of-life services. Traveling the World serving as a Missionary in Israel, Africa, and Mexico, and in 2015 Danielle hiked the world renowned Pilgrimage the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Her World travel brought her back to the States where she resumed her acting career landing National Commercials; the BET AWARDS promo with Jamie Foxx, the Norwegian Client Novo Nordisk, and a Mother's Day National Spot with JC Penny.
