Richard Blake is an actor, writer, director and producer known for Everwood, NCIS: Los Angeles, Drop Dead Diva, Days of our Lives, Cold Case, CSI, Dragonball: Evolution, & the indie biopic Snake & Mongoose. He founded the company Amberock Productions in 2016 with his debut film as director, "The Rocket" which went on to win multiple awards and receive international distribution. Amberock Production's second feature, "Blame," released September 2021 as the #3 most streamed new release film on Amazon in the fall of 2021. Blake's latest work, "The Actor", premiered to a sold out crowd at AMC theaters in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. The entire cast was present as was rock legend Ed Roland from the world famous rock band Collective Soul, whose music is featured on the film's energetic soundtrack. Richard Blake has several original projects in development both as writer and director in addition to working on screen as an actor in high caliber projects like Paramount's "Landman" and Sony's "Saved by Grace."

His brother David served in the military in Iraq. On the day of his return to America, Richard landed the role of David, a soldier who returns from serving in Vietnam in an episode of CBS's "Cold Case".
Plays guitar and writes music. Is a big fan of the band Collective Soul, as well as classical composition and classic movie score.
Is actively involved with the Christopher Reeve Foundation.
Gained and lost weight to portray the 20-year life span of Tom The Mongoose McEwen in the feature film "Snake and Mongoo$e".
