Gutsy London stage performer who made only a handful of films. The closest thing Britain had to Chita Rivera, she appeared in the UK premiere of "Follies", "Applause", "Oh Kay!", "Chicago", "Stepping Out" and original London productions of "How To Succeed...", "Sweet Charity", "Jean Seberg" and "The Rink". Retired for some years following her marriage to popular British comedian Dick Emery.

Was married to (and separated from) British TV star, <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0256289/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Dick Emery</a>. She
subsequently had to go to court in order to receive money from his estate.
