- At 21, she married a wealthy London businessman in the rag trade, gave up her career at his request but still did the odd television show. She turned her hand to dress designing and traveled around France and America looking for fashion ideas, then got a part in a play. Her husband realised that he shouldn't have suppressed her natural talent, so she went back to the theatre. The marriage ended in 1960 after four years. Her second marriage was to insurance broker Henry Sheridan-Taylor resulting in a son, Adam, born 1957, and daughter Deborah, born 1969. She enjoys painting, sewing, cooking and decorating. She lives in Fulham.

- Her father was a Russian barber, named Myer Ogus, who changed the family name to Blair.
- Recorded a single (45) for Ember Records in 1963 as "Miss X". The 'A' side, "Christine", a satirical dig at the notorious Christine Keeler affair, was a minor hit in the UK. It was produced by John Barry, who also co-wrote "Gotta Getaway Now", sung by Blair in the film Be My Guest (1965).
