Was twice nominated for Broadway's Tony Award: in 1972, as one of the
co-producers of Best Musical nominee "Ain't Supposed to Die a Natural
Death;" and in 1984, as Best Book (Musical) for "The Tap Dance Kid."
Survived by his two children: David, and Lisa, and one granddaughter.
