Biography

Lars-Gunnar Björklund was born on February 24, 1937 in Stockholm, Stockholms län, Sweden. He was an actor and writer, known for Dalecarlians (2004), Höjdhoppar'n (1981) and SOPOR (1981). He died on November 30, 2012 in Stockholm, Stockholms län, Sweden.

He was throughout his career, one of Sweden's most beloved presenters.

In the 1970s, he was then a familiar face for Tips Extra, and was awarded, among other things as first sportswriter Great Journalist Prize in radio and television.

He has his wife, Lena, and sons Daniel and Frederick, and grandchildren.

He was an important Sweden's first television sports editor, where he recruited employees Arne Hegerfors, Fredrik Belfrage and Ingvar Oldsberg.

His favorite teams were Djurgårdens IF and Tottenham Hotspur FC.
