Biography

In the 1980s, he helped found student comedy clubs at UCLA and University of California at Irvine (UCI). The UCLA Comedy Club's members included several who would go on to make names for themselves in Hollywood including: Lethal Weapon scribe Shane Black, writer-director Fred Dekker, and Men In Black writer Ed Solomon. The UCI Comedy Club gave a head start to Tom Martin, writer for "The Simpsons," "Just Shoot Me" and "The Showbiz Show with David Spade".
