Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Jan Bijvoet is a Flemish actor known for his distinctive work across theater, film, and television. A graduate of Studio Herman Teirlinck, he built his stage career with companies such as NTGent, Toneelgroep Ceremonia, and Toneelhuis before becoming one of the artistic leaders of Theater Zuidpool in 2005, where he also continued to perform. On screen, he became widely recognized for playing JB in Van Vlees en Bloed (2009) and later expanded his international profile with selective roles in Peaky Blinders (2013), [link=tt10919486, and [link=tt6361278. His film work includes The Broken Circle Breakdown (2012), [link=tt1954315, The Ardennes (2015), Embrace of the Serpent (2015), [link=tt7618604, and The Forgotten Battle (2020). Alongside acting, he has also explored music as part of the duo Siesta, reflecting a career marked by versatility and a strong presence in both arthouse and mainstream productions.
