He trained at the Kleinkunstacademie, which he had to end early, however, due to lack of money.

Bram Biesterveld was a Dutch actor.

In 1966, Biesterveld did get hired in the Snip and Snap revue. This job was followed by other stage jobs, including the Amsterdam Volkstoneel. He also participated in Spartheater performances, commercials and mini-musicals.

In his youth, Biesterveld trained as a machinist. After this, he worked at KLM and a technical agency.

Biesterveld's real breakthrough came with his role as "Pommetje Horlepiep" in the eponymous series. He started his own children's theater and traveled the country with the shows "Pommetje in het nauw" and" Bakkertje Deeg". Biesterveld also wrote his own one-man show. It was not a success because people were expecting 'Pommetje'.
