Christabel Bielenberg was born on 18 June 1909 in Totteridge, Hertfordshire, England, UK. She was a writer, known for Christabel (1988), Tourists of the Revolution (2000) and Daytime Live (1987). She was married to Peter Bielenberg. She died on 2 November 2003 in Tullow, County Carlow, Ireland.

In 1934 when she married a German lawyer she left England and lived in Germany until 1946. She wrote several books about her life under
the Nazis.
