Biography

An accomplished and seasoned educator with a background in public, private and entertainment educational sectors. Joel holds an M.Ed as an Educational Diagnostician, a BS in Education, BA in Psychology, and a BFA in Music. Professional experience includes ownership, administration and classroom instruction at a highly regarded private school, and teaching at both college and elementary level public institutions. As a public school educator he served as Grade Level Chair, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, Resource Teacher, Reading Coach, and was named Teacher of the Year. Higher education credentials include serving as departmental Graduate Fellow at a major private university, and teaching English at a public college. Joel is a licensed studio teacher, and holds current teaching certifications in both California and Texas.
