Biography

Gerald Bezhanov was born on March 15, 1940 in Tbilisi, USSR [now Republic of Georgia]. He was a director and producer, known for Srochnyy vyzov (1979), Pirozhki s kartoshkoy (2007) and The Most Charming and Attractive (1985). He died on October 30, 2025.

A member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1990), Knight of the Order of Friendship (2010).
