Born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey. He was Featherweight Boxing
Champ in a Fort Dix Boxing Tournament. During the Korean War he was a
Military Policeman. He coached the 6th Army Boxing Team. He became a
Boxing Promoter and was Manager of Boxer Iran Barkley.
