Ben Betts was born on July 16, 1969 in San Mateo, California, USA. He is known for Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Deep Impact (1998) and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009). He has been married to Nicole Myrick since April 19, 2008.

Assisted Karem "John" Monsour in designing 24-Frame Sync Playback methodologies for vintage computer systems including Apple Macintosh 128, Apple Lisa and NeXT.

Enjoys renovating and restoring vintage houses, specializing in 1920-30s Spanish-Revival Architecture.

Specializes in practical Television Studios' "show within the show" where a working Studio/Control Room are photographed as part of production.
