- Member of the singing group "Beau Dommage" with Marie-Michèle Desrosiers, Michel Rivard, Michel Hinton, Robert Léger and Réal Desrosiers.
- Son of François Bertrand (1914-2013) famous CBC Radio-Canada French Radio Network announcer and owner of Librairie Bertrand which was at Place Villle-Marie in Montréal.
