Comes from an artistic background. Her grandfather, Emile Bertin, was a set decorator and painter who worked on sets at the Paris Opera and the Comédie-Française. Her mother, France Bertin, was an interior designer who wrote magazine articles on designing. Her uncle, Jean Bertin, was also a painter and decorator.
