Biography

-Since graduating from the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec (Canada) in 1990, Nancy Bernier has combined directing, writing, artistic direction and acting, enabling her to develop her art to the full. Always on the lookout for new challenges, she has some twenty professional stage productions to her credit, alongside roles in numerous theatrical productions. Her performance as La Vieille in "Les Chaises de Ionesco", presented at La Bordée during the 2012-2013 season, earned her the Prix Paul-Hébert, awarded as part of the 2013 Prix d'Excellence des Arts et de la Culture. Similarly, her design work for public events such as "Le Manoir de l'Horreur" (2014-2013), "Où tu vas quand tu dors en marchant 2" (2012-2011), "Lévis au Cube" (2011) and "Le Parcours 400 ans chrono" has received unanimous critical acclaim. To enjoy greater creative freedom, she founded the company Azur Créations with Bernard White in 2009, enabling her to devote herself to the ideation and artistic direction of innovative multidisciplinary projects.
