Biography

Joseph Bernard was born on December 12, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He was an actor and director, known for Star Trek (1966), Judgment at Nuremberg (1961) and The Baby (1973). He was married to Bina Beatrice Rosenbaum. He died on April 3, 2006 in New York City, New York, USA.

Was a good friend to Jerry Lewis and happened to be working with Lewis, preparing for a part on "Law & Order: SVU" when he was stricken at New York City's Waldorf Astoria Hotel and died.

Taught at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in Holywood from the late 60s until 1979, when he moved to Las Vegas and opened the Joseph Bernard Acting Studio.
